Sheetká X’áat’i Hitx’i is the Tlingit name of our office and means Sitka Island Housing.
Our Mission
Our purpose is to assist Sitka Tribal citizens and other Sitka residents in collaboration with other agencies achieve self-sufficiency and pride through affordable housing opportunities. We will increase the safe, sanitary housing stock of modest design through construction, acquisition, and rehabilitation of housing and provide the means to obtain affordable housing through home ownership and rental programs.
