We are pleased to announce that Cliff Richter will be re-joining our team as BIHA’s new Executive Director.  Cliff is a licensed professional civil engineer and most recently served as Municipal Engineer for the City & Borough of Sitka for the past 2 years.

Prior to that, Cliff was a part of the BIHA family for 14 years. As Development Coordinator during that time, he managed the design and construction of multiple housing projects, including the creation of Phase 1, 2 and 3 rentals (4-plexes) at the Kaasda He’en Shanaa’x multi-family housing subdivision (2007-2017).  Additionally, he was the project manager for the Monastery Senior Housing Rehabilitation Project (2009), BIHA’s New Office Building (2011) and BIHA’s New Maintenance Facility (2013).

Cliff is ready to lead the organization and bring forth a new era of affordable housing opportunities for Sitka.
